First Day of School!!

well... so starts the beginning of the last semester...

I'm pretty excited about this semester's modules coz they seem quite fun!

New Media Technology is like something that is so totally me ~~~!! I refer to Andrew the linguistically and intellectually competent ... xD

What Ms Kwa said this morning struck a chord in me. I've never taken much photos with my classsmates since year 1!! So I shall make the best use of this semester with my NEW camera phone!! haha.

My blog shall become a splitting image of Becky's blog, without the rainbow color words of coz... *grins*

Polarization of Singaporeans

okay.... I think Dominic and I just cam-whored a whole lot on each other's blogs... haha

I think this is like one of the first time I posted so many pictures...

anywayz... yesterday, I was dragged by my family to attend some charity festival that has something to do with the heart and health.

terrible. It was filled with old folks and aunties.

The worse part?

My eyes were finally opened to why people coined the term UGLY Singaporeans.

I always wondered why this term was coined, when the people around me are usually so nice...


BUT


I was thoroughly enlightened.

In fact, I was so traumatised that I forgot to take photos of this entire distasteful affair.

The organizers were giving out free "goodie-bags", which consisted of

1 75ml packet of ultra-reduced sugar soya bean milk

1 medium sized packet of dry biscuits

1 packet of pretty worthless discount vouchers (i.e. 5% discount for every $50 spent. wth? -$2?)

1 gaudy yellow shirt


I didnt know this was worth fighting, shouting, screaming, pushing, wacking etc. for.

But these uncles and aunties are like so @#_!#(*, they fit exactly into every discription of an UGLY Singaporean.

me and my brothers were flabbergasted... we were standing at the side of the "queue" (its in brackets because it isnt really a queue; aunties and uncles were pushing in from all sides to form a V shaped whirlpool that ended at the table of the poor organizers)

and the organizers were like really rude too. After we patiently gave way to all these deranged folks, we were greeted by "NAH. go go go go! why you still standing here? I give you already mah!!"

JEEZ

the things i do for my parents..

I dont even want those dumb goodie bags.

bleah. lets not dwell on issues that reflect badly on Singapore as a WHOLE.
